🧴Washing Instructions

We highly recommend handwashing for the best results, especially for delicate fabrics like satin or organza.

  • Prep: Fill a small basin or sink with cool or lukewarm water. Add a tiny amount of gentle detergent (like a mild laundry detergent or delicate fabric wash).
  • Soak: Place the scrunchies in the water and let them soak for about 10–15 minutes.
  • Cleanse: Gently agitate the scrunchies in the water with your hands. Avoid aggressive scrubbing or wringing, which can damage the fabric fibres and elastic.
  • Rinse: Rinse thoroughly with cool, clean water until all soap residue is gone.
  • Dry: Gently squeeze out excess water (do not twist or wring). Lay the scrunchies flat on a clean towel and allow them to air dry completely.

Quick Tip: If absolutely necessary, you may use a mesh laundry bag for machine washing on a delicate cycle with cool water. However, hand-washing is always the safest option!

🧺Storage Tips

Proper storage helps your scrunchies keep their shape and prevents snags or stretching.

Avoid Overstretching: When storing them, do not leave your scrunchies wrapped around anything too thick (like large jars) for extended periods, as this can wear out the elastic.

The Scrunchie Stand: Store them by sliding them onto a dedicated scrunchie stand, hook, a narrow bottle, or just lay them flat in a box. This keeps them tidy and preserves their round shape.

Keep Dry: Ensure scrunchies are completely dry before storing them in a closed drawer or container to prevent mildew or musty smells.

Protect Delicate Fabrics: For fabrics like satin or lace, consider storing them in a soft cloth pouch to protect them from dust and snags.
