From a Childhood Love to a Family Dream

For as long as I can remember, two things have always been true: I've had a pencil in my hand and a scrunchie in my hair. 

The ritual of tying my hair up into a messy bun or a neat ponytail has always felt like the first step in creating. But I kept running into the same frustrating problem: it was difficult to find scrunchies that were beautifully designed and built to last. I wanted pieces that felt like little works of art, not just functional hair ties. 

This is where our story truly begins. 

The Spark ✨

Fuelled by a desire for a better hair accessory and my lifelong passion for art and crafting, I finally decided to stop searching and start creating. I borrowed my mum's sewing machine and pulled out some of the exquisite, vibrant fabrics I'd collected on trips around the world. Those first few stitches felt like bringing a piece of my travel memories and my creative spirit into something I could wear every day. 

What started as a simple personal project quickly blossomed into a beloved hobby.

The turning point came when my sister saw my growing collection. She loved them so much that she immediately encouraged me to share them with the world. 

That moment of belief transformed a solo hobby into a family endeavour. 

Today, this shop is a true partnership. My sister is our brilliant design muse, offering fresh ideas and exciting colour palettes. My contribution is rooted in my passion for handcrafting and attention to detail, ensuring that the unique fabrics are transformed into accessories that reflect true quality and artistry. And our incredible mum helps us every step of the way—from meticulously cutting the beautiful fabrics to prepping them perfectly for sewing.
